Horizontal Lifeline

Temporary fall protection devices ensure worker safety when operating at height on horizontal surfaces. These systems allow one or two operators to attach themselves securely.

Comprising at least two anchor points spaced up to 12 meters apart, they are connected by a flexible horizontal lifeline (HL). Intermediate anchor points may be added to enhance stability and expand the working area.

Easy to use, horizontal lifelines integrate seamlessly into structures, providing reliable protection by simply attaching a lanyard or retractable system. This equipment has become a standard on high-altitude worksites in Quebec.

Permanent systems exist for frequently accessed structures but require engineer approval.
