Fall Protection Safety Harness

Fall protection safety harnesses prevent worker falls and adapt to various tasks through different configurations. They are categorized into five groups based on their function:

1. A: Standard fall arrest
2. P: Work positioning
3. D: Descent
4. L: Ladder climbing
5. E: Confined space retrieval

Harness straps are made from specific materials:

1. Polyester: Resistant to UV rays and chemicals
2. Nylon: Soft texture and resistance to alkalis
3. Nomex: Flame-resistant, ideal for welding

Various attachment systems are available depending on the harness. Certification:

1. Compliant with ANSI Z359.11-2014 and CSA Z259.10-12 standards
2. Compliant with CSA Z259.10-06 standard
3. Non-certified models available
