PVC coated galvanized steel cable sling for fall protection. It’s a flexible anchorage connector with swaged eyes at each end. Diameter: ¼ in (6 mm), 7 X 19.

This cable anchorage sling is available in various lengths ranging from four (4') or six (6'). Please select your size from the drop down menu above.

The FP02 is designed to withstand a tensile strength of 5000 lb (22 kN) which meets the standard ANSI Z359.1-2007, but also CSA Z259.12. The maximum load recommended by the manufacturer is 310 lb (140 kg).

Inspection:

The worker is responsible for visually inspecting his equipment before each use. During this routine inspection, the worker must note any signs of degradation, malfunction, or breakage. The anchor will have to be replaced if any such signs are detected.

On top of this routine inspection, the anchor must be inspected by a qualified person different than the worker. The frequency of these inspections varies according to the manufacturer. Some manufacturers require an inspection every 90 days, others every 180 days, or even yearly. These inspections should be performed more often if your equipment is used in extreme environmental working conditions. Any equipment that has withstood a fall or an impact must be scrapped.
