Easily attachable to any faucet, it provides optimal protection with its anti-scald valve and meets ANSI Z358.1 standards. Ensure the safety of your eyes with this reliable and high-performing tool. Let the Eyepod be your first line of defense.
Compliant with the ANSI Z358.1 standard if installed on a faucet with a minimum debit of 0.4 GPM (1.5 L/min) at 30 PSI.
A great economical option for laboratories, medical facilities, schools, etc. Practical and easier to install than a wall-mount or pedestal face wash.
This eyewash can be installed on most standard faucets to quickly transform them into an eyewash station when needed. An easy flip mechanism activates the eyewash in a single step.
The eyePod eyewash is activated by flipping the front half of the eyewash in any direction. In faucet mode, water flows through the aerator and the nozzles are facing down for protection against dust and debris. In eyewash mode, water flows immediately through the nozzles and the overflow is directed to the aerator. The built-in anti-scald valve stops water flow to the nozzles as soon as the water temperature exceeds 37°C (100°F), preventing eye burns. If the water is restored to a safe temperature, the water flow to the nozzles resumes after a cool-down period.
After being used in eyewash mode, the eyePod must be returned to faucet mode in order to allow water to drain from the device. The nozzles have an antimicrobial treatment and are mold-resistant.
Make safety a priority.
In the event of chemical splashes, dust, or particles entering the eyes, immediate rinsing can reduce the risk of serious injury. The EyePod converts a standard faucet into an emergency eyewash with a single movement, making rapid response easier directly at the point of use.
The EyePod eyewash is ANSI Z358.1 compliant when installed on a faucet delivering at least 0.4 GPM (1.5 L/min) at 30 PSI. It is a practical and economical solution for laboratories, clinics, schools, workshops, and other environments where a full fixed eyewash station is not always installed.
