3M RM972 flame resistant headgear cover compatible with all M series facepieces. 3M RM972 is made of polyester and can resist flames. It must be installed on top of the facepiece so that it protects it from smelt metal particles which may occasionally deteriorate the facepiece otherwise. 3M suggest also this product for work with paint since it prevents paint from sticking to the facepiece.
